I always find giving gifts to older men (to Dad's, Grandfathers, Uncles, etc) difficult. Mainly because these men usually have everything that need already. Giving cologne, clothes or handkerchief seems too cliche; too predictable. I was thinking and the best way to find out what gift to give is to find out first what their hobbies are. For example, my Dad would appreciate anything about guns or knives. He would also love anything techie. My uncle who loves to smoke cigar while drinking his cognac would appreciate black & mild cigars. While my grandfather who enjoys watching boxing fell in love with a cap that was signed by Manny "The Pacman" Pacquiao himself. So I guess men might be difficult to give a gift to but it is not impossible to find something they will appreciate. After all, it is the thought that counts. My dad is turning 60 next month and my siblings and I are brainstorming on ideas of what to give him. My mom would not like him to have any more firearms so that means, we are probably going to end up giving him a gadget ot two.
