Time For A Check

Our car is due for its checkup anytime. I still have to find the time to do it. Now that I use the car daily to and from Joshua's school, I have to make sure it is in top shape. It's just that rains have been pouring lately and I'd hate to have to call a cab. So, I am looking for the perfect time and weather to bring the car to a shop. If I bring it, that would mean it would have to stay there for a day or 2 depending on the maintenance it needs.

I can't overlook this any longer though. I can feel the car needs oil change, its filters changed, tires need air, the wiper blade has to be changed and the wheels rotated and the car aligned. Speaking of cars, I've got to find an affordable cargo mat for our car. Our trunk's liner has ripped and you have to keep on rearranging it because it slides off. I had a problem when I had to put Joshua's cake in because I was scared the cake would slide on the trip home. I hope it doesn't cost too much though. Jacob's 1st birthday is coming up and although we don't plan a big celebration we'd still invite a few people for dinner or something like that.
