I'm Not An Old Lady

It is quiet around the house lately. Everybody seems to be traveling except me. Right now, Mom is away for her Divine Mercy convention. Dad is going out of town too for work. My brother will probably be sent back to our Bacolod office for inventory, my sister is not here and yeah, Hubby too.

That leaves me in-charge of the whole household.

I don't mind though. It's funny, I was walking around the house with my nightgown and curlers and I had to go out to the garage a bit when our next door neighbor, a little girl, asked me what I placed in my hair. I told her it was curlers and that I wanted to curl my hair so that I look pretty. She said, I don't need it anymore because I am already pretty! Kids, I love 'em their so honest. ^_^ I am sure she just said that because I looked like an old woman. Speaking of old, I just found out on top of wrinkles, I have age spots in my face already! They are around my eye area...:(( It doesn't help when Ozzy sometimes teases me and says, "You're an old lady Mama." I really have to take much better care of my skin from now on. I am not getting younger and the sun is brutal. I guess putting on toner and moisturizer is not enough. A good sunblock is a must this summer.
