Work@Home.

When I say I work at home, people almost immediately assume I don't have a "real" job. By real I mean, they don't think I go in at 8-5 and I can just go out anytime. People who ask nod but deep down they think I am in my jammies all day watching tv ang lazying around.
That is so far from the truth.
I wake up 6AM daily to feed the baby and give him a bath. Get dressed. Have breakfast. Give Joshua a bath. Yes, I give both my boys their baths. After I go in, work till 12, eat...put them to sleep after then work at around 2 then out by 5.
I may be late (more than once a week) and take unusually longer lunch breaks, however I do have an 8-5 job. Whenever I am late I make up for it by staying an extra hour after 5 or I work during Saturdays just to finish the job. However, most often than not - I do get to finish my work, most of it is pretty easy and doesn't involve much analysis. Basically all you need to know is how to operate the computer, excel and the rest, well you just need to read a few manuals and textbooks then you'll get the drift for sure. You see, even though I blog on the side, when I focus on finishing a task, I really do it without (much) complaint and as fast and efficiently as possible.
For example, in the office I don't walk around the office talking nonsense with my office mates, when I am in the office I work, work, work only talking when necessary. I rarely take leaves and sick leaves. Case in point, after giving birth, I was back to work in a week!! On the plus side I just have to walk up a flight of stairs but still...it's a real freakin' job.
Sometimes I wonder how I manage it all.
