Welcome to the August 13th version of Thursday Thunks!
(which we always seem to post on Wednesday)
Where we make you think a little bit before you blog!
This week we will answer some crazy questions brought to you by
Kimber, the number 4812 and the color of storm clouds.
1. Hypothetical question- you are in a building with famous works of art, old manuscripts of famous novels, and original sheet music from famous composers. The building is on fire and looks to be completely destroyed. Do you grab any of the famous works before fleeing, and if so what?
Maybe I'd grab old manuscripts of the bible. It would be a shame if it will all be ruined in a fire.
2. In August 1969, the Manson family went on a 2 night killing spree. Do you think 40 years later they have paid for their crimes?
I don't know of them so I googled them; (the horror) seeing the graphic photos like that. Poor Sharon Tate Polanski who was 8 1/2 months pregnant!! Her baby too. It's so tragic I didn't want to read more. Whatever their reason is, I hope that cult will never be released from prison.
3. Power Outage! What's the longest you have been without power?
It was back in 1992 (I am not sure of the date) I think, a super typhoon hit Cebu and we were out of power for 2 weeks!!!
4. Just bought a new tazer gun. Will you let it be tested it on you to see if it works, and how it feels to be tazered?
No way! I am not that crazy.
5. A neighbor's mail was delivered to you. In it is a magazine not wrapped in plastic. Is it ok for you to flip through it before giving it to the neighbor? Do you tell them you looked through it?
Depends on what kind of magazine. I would probably flip through it, not read, just look and then hand it to the neighbor.
6. If I went through your purse/wallet right now, what all would I find in there?
Important ID's, Drivers License and Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Cash and some change. I have an extra car key and house key in there too. You can't imagine how many times I've left the key inside the car.
7. Have you been living under a rock?
Sometimes I think that. See #2. However, that was 1969 and I wasn't born yet so I have an excuse somehow.
8. Tell us something crazy you did this week.
I gave the people of AM (local Dell Service Center) a piece of my mind. How dare they charge me so much for a simple keyboard repair job. I ended up paying for it still - I am glad I was able to tell them how I felt.
