Voting Wisely

I often wonder - how do corrupt government officials and politicians sleep at night? They see and hear about the poverty of their countrymen and yet they continue to steal money from the people. Taxpayers money which is supposed to be for the housing projects, road projects and schools go to their pockets and into their lavish lifestyle. How very different our country would be if money is spent wisely, there would be better schools and housing projects for the future of our kids. I read about manufactured homes and if I were running for office, I'd look into this, maybe we can have these kinds of projects.

Voting is a privilege and a right of every Filipino, rich or poor. I really hope this 2010 we take time to ponder on what's good for our Country as a whole and not just for ourselves.
