Rain, rain go away.

The weather here in Cebu has been rainy and cloudy for the past few days. Although there are flooding in some low lying areas and places where its near the ocean, I consider our City and Visayas in general still lucky compared to Luzon area. Anyway, since we've entered the last quarter of the year rains should be expected. We should all be extra vigilant during this time to avoid disastrous events like flooding. Cardinal Sin of Cebu urged the people to plant trees. We can do our part too by properly segregating our waste and throwing them properly to avoid drainage clogging. Also, we should have emergency lights, candle, extra food and water and basic necessities ready in our homes in case of emergency.

Anyway, these rainy days you can also protect your outdoor furniture by putting outdoor furniture covers. If you don't have a garage; putting car covers is a good idea too as long as it doesn't flood then this will help keep off the elements. Right now, it is raining and its a bummer. I dislike the rain. I don't enjoy the "rain-smell" and the wet ground. Times like these I just stay home and enjoy a warm meal and a dry comfy bed!
